Speech & Language Evaluation - $400

Our evaluations are designed to feel engaging, supportive, and tailored to your child.

We take a whole-child approach to better understand how your child communicates in everyday situations.

Your child’s evaluation includes:

  • A conversation with you to understand your concerns and goals

  • Play-based activities and structured tasks to assess communication

  • Use of standardized tools when appropriate

  • Observation of your child’s natural speech and language

  • Evaluation of how your child understands and follows directions

  • A detailed, easy-to-understand written report

  • Personalized recommendations and next steps

We’ll also take time to answer your questions and help you feel confident moving forward.

Time commitment:

  • 60–90 minute evaluation session (may be broken up over multiple sessions if needed)

  • Additional time is spent on scoring, analysis, and report writing

✨ Therapy is not required to participate in an evaluation. Many families choose an evaluation simply to better understand their child’s communication and receive guidance.

✨ If you choose to move forward with ongoing therapy services through our membership, an evaluation is required prior to starting sessions.

Our membership model is designed for families who want consistent, ongoing support.

This option reserves a dedicated weekly therapy slot and provides additional parent guidance.

All payments are securely processed through electronic invoice.

Superbills & Insurance Reimbursement

Sunup Speech and Language Therapy is a private pay practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly.

However, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes:

  • Dates of service

  • Type of service provided

  • CPT (procedure) codes

  • Diagnosis codes

  • Provider information

Many families are able to receive partial reimbursement, depending on their plan.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of time to ask:

  • Do I have coverage for speech and language therapy?

  • Are out-of-network providers eligible for reimbursement?

  • What documentation is required for reimbursement?

We will do our best to include all necessary information on our end to support the reimbursement process. However, coverage and reimbursement amounts are determined by your insurance plan and are not guaranteed.

Superbills are typically provided monthly along with your invoice for your convenience.
